I will be on the gold coast for a week starting this thursday, hopefully in a reasonably high residential tower, and looking for new digital signals is high on my list, as well as cross-checking/updating the theme parks listing that Brisbanescan has compiled elsewhere. I will be running DSD+1.50, winDSDV2, dmr v74 via a tapped 796.

I was doing a bit of research before i arrive and it would seem as you say there is quite a bit of TETRA, mainly 800Mhz but also in the 460Mhz band.

I would be curious to know if the Q1 building is still running the low power 5 watt 2 channel MPT1327 system on 462.525/462.925 that i logged in 2006 (when i was last up there). The control channel use to alternate between the two frequencies.

Themepark monitoring is quite easy from the carpark but not inside (for obvious reasons).
Unfortunately I did not have the luxury of any systematic monitoring

Dreamworld/Whitewaterworld are using HYT TC610 analog radios
Wet'n'wild were using Motorola's
Movieworld were using Motorolas and Vertex
Seaworld were using Motorolas (even saw a DP3400). ( with National Wireless stickers)
