Hey guys

I know it might be a long shot but does anyone run PDW up in the Capricornia region? I have to program a pager for a friend who has just moved up there (they have a mac so they can't run PDW) and was looking for some capcodes.

These are for Freq. 148.6375 I have a more complete list for Qld ,But this list is for the Central Region
You can Also put in 149.835 which gets alot of the Rural Fire Service stuff.Anyone else chaseing stuff in the Central Region just drop me and Email

you would need to run a virtual version of windows as there is no pocsag decoder for mac, im running an old xp computer for mine and use VNC to view the screen from my mac

Nevermind - its just a quiet night here in Rocky by the looks - just seen a couple come through and then heard QAS Operators talking to units

The two main paging frequencies used by Qld Emergency Services just happen to be Australia Wide frequencies, and that is why you are getting pages from across Australia.

When businesses subscribe to a Paging Service, they only sign up for the number of Sites they believe they will need. For example, some businesses only subscribe for one or two Sites, some may subscribe for one or two States, and others subscribe for all States (National).

National Maintenance Companies, which may be headquartered in Sydney or Melbourne, need to be able to contact their "call-out staff" where ever they may happen to be at the time, be it Canberra, Townsville, Dampier, Perth, or Alice Springs, so they sign up for National access, to guarantee contact.
