Updated - for your information if you go to the ACMA website http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/assig ... nge_search and search between 4000-4500 (Postcodes) and the frequency above you can usually find which tower its coming off.

I ended up using (http://www.uniden.com.au/v3/search_page.htm) to get all for QLD and using the EZ-Grab feature in freescan to upload to my scanner

Is there any difference to Dept of main road and Dept of transport? I thought they were the same thing.

They have probably merged since the information was obtained if you can confirm which ones are still working that would be fantastic

I will listen to theses frequencies and update my findings later.

I got a hit on 451.2250MHz. After listening to this some more it was identified as Brisbane Habour [s]It had something to do with Marine. Talking about different ships/boats in the area and that they were approaching dock.[/s]

I will keep listening and see what else I can find out

The Uniden Site is way, way, way, out-of-date, as has been mentioned previously on this Forum.

For example, the Queensland Police went to 12.5 kHz channel spacing in about 2002/3, and yet the Uniden Site still does not show any of the 12.5 kHz frequencies.

That is, the ones ending in:-

.0125, .0375, .0625, .0875
.1125, .1375, .1625, .1875
.2125, .2375, .2625, .2875
.3125, .3375, .3625, .3875
.4125, .4375, .4625, .4875
.5125, .5375, .5625, .5875
.6125, .6375, .6625, .6875
.7125, .7375, .7625, .7875
.8125, .8375, .8625, .8875
.9125, .9375, .9625, .9875

After listening some more I got another hit in my Dept of Transport group. I was about to list it until I noticed it was the same as the above frequency (451.2250) that was listed under Main Roads Dept.

So it would appear from what I have heard so far that Dept of Transport have merged with Dept of Main Roads

I will have to keep that in mind when looking for frequencies. Is there any other website that offers an extensive database like that of Uniden has that is up-to-date

On the ACMA Database, at least, they are currently known as:-

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (Queensland Transport).

Frequencies in the range of 450.4875 to 451.5125 MHz, in conjunction with 459.9875 to 461.0125 MHz, are Link frequencies (Fixed Point-to-Point in ACMA terminology). They are low power (usually 1 W, or less) and directional.

One Link is between Wilkes Knob, and Queensland Transport's Marine Operations Centre at Pinkenba.
