handheld scanner recommendation

Postby cflyte » Sat Oct 15, 2016 2:49 pm

Hi all,
I am new to this although I use handheld uhf radios when i am paragliding.

My interest is mainly flight related so has anyone got a recommendation for a good handheld scanner to listen to air traffic. Other services like emergency, etc would be of interest as well.

Many thanks

There is a new one on the market - Uniden 325p2 - will do just about everything . Still pricey , it's replaced the 396xt .

There is also the Whistler Trx 1 . Has it all - similar to dv1 - but much better and cheaper .
