Hi all. Ive been a radio nerd since I was a young bloke and love the way technology is going.
I recently purchased a Uniden BCD325P2 Scanner to assist me in my occupation as a journalist, and also to keep tabs on my local Rural Fire Brigade that I'm a member of.
Finding it 'really' hard to get my head around exactly what is required when programming in certain frequencies into my new headache, sorry, I mean toy.
Im confused as to whether you need to program in NAC values (and if so where), Talkgroup ID's etc.
I lost a lot of comms from out of the box and reset it this morning.
I think Im getting old lol.

No need to program NACs. Does it have talkgroup search mode so you can just program a CC?
Have you tried YouTube for a tutorial?
