Hi
My name is john, im 43 y/o living on the Sunshine coast, ive been driving trucks all my life and now because of medical conditions i no longer drive, using radios and listening to scanners is nothing new to me, however with the scanner it was always set to local police frequencies around the country, now that i dont driver any more i have the scanner set up in the 4x4 and have no idea how to use it properly, what i would like is to not only scan the police channels but listen to any other channels that may be available.
Any help and or advise would be great, the scanner i have is a Uniden UBCD996T and i have just upgraded the firmware.
Cheers
good afternoon all
