Hi gents
I'm new to this site,, I m currently running a gme tx4400 and am thinking of swapping it out for a icom 400 pro,,,as I'm fairly new to this I'm after some opinion s on what you guys think is a better unit.. Cheers

IC-400 Pro is defiantly a better unit in my opinion. To me the TX4400 is a very basic radio with limited features, however is perfectly fine for a beginner. Icom have a good reputation of building decent, rugged radios commonly used in commercial fit-outs.

I have a 400 pro also bought my son one for his car BULLET PROOF fantastic audio too
