Again, I hate you all.
You've infected me with the scanner bug.
I couldn't help myself, I had to get another scanner.
Reason being, that I didn't want to tie up my main scanner with pager decoding (which was what was happening).
So, I got the little baby, cheapie, EXI30XLT.
Got it new for $100, which seems to be an ok price.
It's hooked up to a seperate vertical dipole (tuned to 149 meg, made by me; see previous thread).
The next thing was, I needed something to hold the scanners.
I had a scrounge around, and couldn't find anything suitable that would work in the limited space I had available.
So, out to the shed, where I knocked up a VERY quick stand out of sheet metal.
It does the job perfectly, cost me nothing, holds them at a perfect angle and yeah, I made it.
So, any comments?

If it works, it works!
Looks great.
Trust me, the bug stays around forever, and before you know it, you'll have more and more!!
Well Done
