Car Build
Hey everyone,
I have just purchased a new car for my Gf and I (2016 VF Calais v8) and I am now looking at turning my old car ( 2004 Honda Accord v6) into a Mobile Rig now that the gf uses the new car.
i have purchased some gear for it and will be doing some work to make it how i like it i have had the car since i was 18 and I'm 25 now and it has a pretty decent stereo in it already so ill keep that how it is but I'm thinking of adding a tablet with 4G data to access the internet whilst on the go, also i have got myself a Tait TM8254 (450-530 Mhz) a uniden UBCD996t and UBCD536PT.
I have put 2 thru-glass antenna's on the rear windscreen one for the tait radio and the other is for the scanners and Digital tv tuner in the car,
I have got the entire car stripped at the moment so i can add some sound deadening and 240v inverter and outlets throughout the car.
ill add some pics now of the before and ill keep you updated with how it looks when its done
Currently has a Uniden 8080s UHF installed

Nice subs by the way, a very clean build too (yours?)

Just out of curiosity, the Mechman Alt,
I didn't think there was an AU distributor, did you order from USA?
Also, how the heck did you know what one to get.
I'm looking at a HO Alt upgrade, but I can't for the life of me find any compatible HO alts for my car.
Any ideas mate?

yeah 2 Alpine type R'sBlake wrote:Woooo, very clean mate.

the tablet has everything i.e., video player, mp3 player, am/fm radio as well as internet and all sorts of apps and can do bluetooth for phone calls and music
the audio out from the tablet goes to the alpine sound processor and that splits it into 5 channels for the 4 speakers and 1 sub channel.
the scanner has an external speaker located under the dash with the speaker for the 2 way radio
