Wireless headphones

Thought this may help someone else if they wanted to do the same.

I wanted to see if these cheap wireless head phones would work walking about the house plugged into my scanner.

I also have a rural property that I hope they will work ok on mainly around the shed etc. See how that goes later.

When I got them I noticed the transmit frequency is around 86Mhz, perfect, I can now plug the head phone transmitter into my base scanner which has an external antenna and walk around with my hand held setup to receive on the 86Mhz frequency, listening to my base scanner and not have big head phones stuck on my head, seems to work well.
Can get all around the house and out into the street no problems, this is with my hand held, with the headphones I can get around the house only.
