Inside my ute

Post by banshee777 »

'06 Mazda B4000 with a PRM8030 on UHF CB plus a Uniden PC122. The external speaker for the Philips is in behind the centre console against the firewall.

Radio in glovebox - used velcro on both sides of the radio to secure and the foam to stop any movement.

Spare power supply from the battery for swapping in other radios as needed (usually tucked up out of the way)

You can just see the remote head mounting bracket is screwed into the ash tray with double sided tape inside the tray to keep it closed. Easy to replace if I take the radios out and minimal holes in the dash.

RFI 9dB aerial plus a cheapy Mobile 1 whip for the HF rig mounted on the bullbar
