Old Mitsubishi rig at Kemp place

Post by James14 » Tue Sep 04, 2012 12:16 pm

Last night I was driving past Kemp place station and noticed an old dinosaur mitsubishi pumper parked in the the 3rd bay. I didn't even know these things existed anymore! Any idea what it's fleet number was? Both Alpha and Bravo were in their bays but no sign of Tango. Is this old beast a spare Tango?

It definitely looked like an in service truck. Still had all the bells and whistles and a fleet number visible.

501T has been off the run for a few weeks now and they were using 857Z but are now maybe using this truck.
517J and 517K.

506E is fleet 983...

It was a bigger truck than a canter,

It was similar in looks to this http://mrphotography.smugmug.com/FireTr ... 02&k=XJMfq

fleet 383.

Edit, it could have also been an old Isuzu similar to 677E (old?) http://mrphotography.smugmug.com/FireTr ... 65&k=Qn4Ni
