Well, I was inclined to say Communications Support Unit ie, the people who plan new radios, Systems, etc. but that probably comes under the Communications Operational Service Centre (I think it is).

But it could be Community Safety Unit

ESCAD appears to come under Communications Operational Service Centre

ESCAD = Emergency Services Computer Aided Dispatch

LOL you guys... COSC (Communications Operational Service Centre) is CSU, they had a name change..

They handle all things to do with ESCAD and computers within the QFRS communications centres.

Radios are dealt with by a seperate unit..

Those Pager messages are sent every Monday, they are to check that CSU has fast contact with the centres in case they need an urgent message in relation to the computer network or ESCAD relayed to the centres.

Does this clear it up?
