what frequency step do i use

what frequency step do i use
Hey guys im a bit confused as to what frequency step i use for the mount isa police, i believe the frequency is 468.975 but do i use 25 khz steps or 12.5khz steps?

Arrange the frequencies into the channels that suit you. I generally put the main police frequency at channel 1. Technically speaking, the channels should be arranged in frequency order as the scanner wll scan faster that way, but in practice, you won't notice any diffrence. 12.5 kHz is the standard spacing on UHF.

Ok thank you, so just say if I put the police frequency on channel 81 that should be fine and should work?

Yes that will work... It's a personal preference on how you set up your scanners ch banks.
