EMS Radio

Post by Anderoo »

I'm rather new to the site and the whole operations regarding radios, what kind of radio do you need to tune into the Gold coast EMS frequencies? It would be much appreciated thanks!

Hi Andrew,

Pretty much anything will do that job. If it can pick up UHF then it will certainly be able to handle anything the EMS down Goldie way can throw at it. Uniden have some pretty reasonably priced units. If you are not wanting to program it yourself then the UBC355XLT is preprogrammed with most Oz frequencies. If on the other hand you want to be able to search out new finds and key in known frequencies you could look at a UBC73XLT.

Of course their are other options out there but these are just a couple off the top of my head.

Cheers,
