RFB - Wasp Creek 51

Post by Stretch »

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be invited up to Wasp Creek RFB for a photo shoot with their appliances. In station was WC 81 (badged with 91 though), WC 51 and WC 61. They also have a couple of other trucks located on South Stradbroke Island in a little shed that's adjacent to the VMR building.

My thanks to the Wasp Creek Rural Fire Brigade. :)

Amazing! Our trucks are all the same colour, not allowed to be yellow.
Happy scanning,

Is Queensland the only state that has one colour for paid Firefighter vehicles, and a different colour for voulunteer vehicles ?

I know the NSWFB and the NSWRFS are almost identical.

All South Australian Country Fire Service vehicles are White, supposedly because that colour is more visible in smokey conditions, which incidently, is also the reason the Qld Rural Fire vehicles are Yellow.
