i have been looking on there 4 a while but i didnt have the money when everyone was selling them and now they are us imports which dont really suit here, but i am still looking.

i got quite a few replys from here with people willing to sell their 996 and i agreed to price they wanted but either didnt want to sell at last minute (and i did offer more money!) or people didnt respond.
now they are on ebay for $450 buy it now and i offered WAY more than that!!!!!!!!!! but going away tomorrow so now im stuck with my ubc93xlt hand held, tho i do have fancy aerial now mounted on my bullbar, was sposed to be for a 996

just gotta pack lots of aa batteries now.
i even agreed to pay $700 for a used one that was missing pieces!

p.s i was bidding on that one on ebay but missed out on it by $7 and was stuck at work when it finished.

Well - since you have laid your cards on the table - have another look on eBay. There are 3 on there ATM. You should be able to pick one up with your $700

holy crap i got a few not so friendly messages after my last post/rant!!!
there were a few people i DID NOT want to direct that at or offend!
so im saying sorry to those i did offend (orangepeel i sent pm, again sorry mate)
and i was pissed off as i kept getting stuffed around and got nothing at the end of it (again orangepeel WASNT directed at you)

I should have explained further due to that small fact could almost have its own topic... They are new been removed from box to test on bench and put back into the box. These are a few of the dick smith run outs... They will come as described and AS NEW CONDITION! For the technically challenged...
