I thought I read somewhere, that the American RH96 was different to the Australian RH96 (at least software wise).
In other words, the American RH96 was not fully compatible with the Australianised version of the BCD396T or BCD996T, and vice versa.

we will soon see i spose i know someone who has the firmware for the Australian version so i might give it a try
