Want to Buy -
A decent handheld or mobile radio with entirely programmable channels TX and RX (not a CB with extra RX only).
Frequency range needs to be at least 450Mhz to 490Mhz, wider would be good.
I have a Uniden UH065sx and a UH500sx I am currently trying to sell to get the money to buy this new radio.
However, I am willing to simply trade them in for a decent mobile.
Thanks guys!

Re: WTB - Decent Handheld / Mobile
How much are you willing to spend, and any brand in particular?
Cheers

Re: WTB - Decent Handheld / Mobile
I am willing to spend probably $250 - $350 at this stage, depending on how much I can sell my two Uniden's for.
Not that there's anything wrong with them, they're great radios, I just need it to be TX and RX programmable.
I'm not sure of brand, which is why I was hoping someone with more experience could help me out.
I need probably at least 50 memory channels, able to be programmed with a TX, RX and a CTCSS subtone.
I was looking at a Simoco 9022 but it's far too expensive for me in my current financial situation (shit all cash).
I was going to buy luke_g's MTS2000 but I didn't make up my mind quick enough
