Digital Train Radio Message Structure

Post by bianca »

Anyone know where I can get information on the structure of DTRS messages?
Do messages from the train contain GPS info, speed, route, train ID etc.
Are messages timestamped?
Are messages always Ack'd?
I have some details from ERTMS/ETCS/Eirene but curious about Australia and North America.

Regards,
Brent Graham

Eirene is allegedly the predecessor of DTRS, and as DTRS is an International "Standard", what applies overseas, should also apply here.
