I'm based In Frankston and work full time as an audio visual technician.

I'm also a volunteer member at Frankston state emergency service and am part of their road rescue crew

I was deployed to the gipsland floods earlier in the year. For 3 weeks.

I was also there for the bush fires in the staging area and part of the cleanup crew.

If you are looking for the latest software which allows use of 'zones' join the Simoco SRM900 forum at yahoo groups. The file is uploaded there.

Simoco SRM9000 software

Peter,

Just a note that the radio has to have the correct firmware for the radio to except zones, you will know if you cant have zones if when you try and load to profile to the radio and it says please load fonts. If that is the case u need to take to a simoco dealer

Hi Phil.

I'm programing the radio only for listen. As a
Rule of thumb in our unit we say that we are turning out or on scene for jobs so that any member with
A portable can listen and know what's goin on.

Jake

i am in rosebud , good to know some one down my end of the world is on this forum
any how

you do know that if you intend on using your SRM to listen the SES it will be next to useless , as the ses in vic now run on the SMR or MPT trunking network , this network needs specific software to allow scanner users to listen , look up trunk view , how ever if you plan on listening to the CFA this will work ,

just giving you a heads up ,,,,,,

Hi guys,

I had an account on here before but i forgot my login so i tried to recover it with my email and it said it didn't recognise the email linked to any account. So i tried to make a new one with the same email and it said Email in use, which it was. Anyways, so i had to make this new account now.

I seem to have lost my Simoco SRM9000 software for some reason it is no longer on my programming laptop. It was an older version anyways since its been a while since i have used radios. Just seen the link posted above this so will try that as i have had no luck getting it anywhere else.. Good to be back here!! :D

thanks,

Dave.

Hi all, Newbie here from WA. Just trying to tune up my Simoco SRM9022 and have all the software from RADARC but I dont have the drivers for the programming cable and the link above is no longer working. Would anyone be able to help please? Also I am using a USB to serial adapter as my laptop does not have a serial port. Will this be an issue?

Thanks
