Define "nothing".Joelzo wrote:what is this 80 channel upgrade suppose to do??? Ive got it on my tx3100 and nothing happens???
The UHF CB Band in Australia was originally 40 channels with 25 kHz bandwidth per channel.
The 80 channel upgrade increases the number of channels to 80, so gives you more channels to use. The bandwidth of each channel is also reduced to 12.5 kHz (improved spectrum efficiency). The change will be "phased in" over the next 5 years.
