If you score a lead let me know where you got it from... Not sure i can trust ebay to get me a good one, most don't work..

yeah no prolems the guys from micheals electronics told me theirs would be like 150 and they told me to go to ebay and they are the dealers but on the net ive seen some heaps cheaper from online stores i just dont have the facilities to buy off the net at the moment
you can use a simico lead but you have to modify the lead i saw pics for it on a web site just havent been able to find that website recently

Re: CS-400 Pro
Hey guys try this code.. I downloaded it wih my programming software.. Be careful with the leads from ebay, some don't work properly, and making up your own is pretty fiddly.. but give it a crack..
This product code should work
**** Please PM me for the key.
Sorry guys had to edit this this is where the legal stuff cuts in. Regards Rochedalescan

Re: CS-400 Pro
Talkback Systems Australia sell programming cables for the IC-400 Pro, as well as for other radios and scanners, such as the IC-40S, IC-R10, and PRO-96.firescan wrote:If you score a lead let me know where you got it from... Not sure i can trust ebay to get me a good one, most don't work..
See http://users.tpg.com.au/adslui9k/category1_1.htm for IC-400 Pro (bottom of page),
and http://users.tpg.com.au/adslui9k/category1_2.htm for the others.
I think their prices are a bit steep, as I am fairly sure that a Genuine Icom cable, for the IC-R10, complete with software, only costs $65.00, and TalkBack Systems Australia want over $60.00 just for the cable.
However, having said that, TalkBack Systems Australia have been in business for quite a few years, and I haven't heard any complaints about their products.

CS-400 Pro
Firstly the cs400 software does not allow you to boost the power you need the alignment software and the correct cable from icom. And no dealer will bump up the wattage for you either. As for the extra channels that is easy look on the forums and you'll find the software

Re: CS-400 Pro
Sorry for restarting a old thread but I hope someone can help me out .
I have the ICF File to change my ic-400 from 40 to 80 channel and I bought a clone cable from Secomm .
My computer recognises that the radio is connected but it will not write to the radio .

Re: CS-400 Pro
Where did you get the ICF file from? Try turning off your anti virus program and see if you can write to the radio.
