Obtain an antenna that suits that band for which you are operating

As the radio puts out a max of 30 watts, you need to be mind full what the Watt rating on the said antenna is.
The back of the radio has a BNC connector but you can buy converters to suit the plug of the antenna.
As stated the said radio comes in VHF High or well as UHF low and High.
Not sure if you are using this for Amateur usage or general UHF CB which is not a preferred radio.
