Does anybody know anybody who can program a Syntrx radio please? I already have the 40 CB channels installed but want to install private UHF frequencies too. (for work)

Motorola Syntrx programming???
Why don't you get the company who programmed your work radios to program your personal radio?
They would know how to do it and specifically the freqs for your work.

Re: Motorola Syntrx programming???
Syntrx's require an EPROM programmer and a replacement EPROM in order to change the freqs.
These are extremely rare.

Re: Motorola Syntrx programming???
There actualy using a prom there is more or less impossible to get now. But if you make up an adapter you can use EPROMS like the 2716, 2732, 2764, 27128 or 27256 these EPROM's are very easy to get.
But also as HughDay said, You'll need a EPROM programmer to program the EPROMS.

Re: Motorola Syntrx programming???
Syntrx and Syntrx Plus are generally only capable of a 10 MHz frequency range, so bear that in mind in reviewing the privacy frequencies.
Another thing to bear in mind is that your Syntrx "should" be dialled back to 5 watts TX power on UHF CB for compliance. Mobiles on dedicated commercial frequencies will normally be 25 watts or so.
