Hi to all the Moto GURUS out there, can you tell me if the below radio are fine for NSW P25 GRN RX only?? I have the opportunity to buy a couple of mobile and handheld units and need to know if these can be programmed to RX NSW P25 GRN.

To track the NSW GRN you would need a 9600 baud trunking on there which the xts3000 does not do that I am aware of, Luke G may be able to be able to guide h through it but you won't be able to track the GRN

If the NSW system is P25 9600 like the second poster says, then your codeplug is fine it will do that system. I have used Astro's to do RX only and I am sure the XTS3000 will do it too. Why not buy just the Astro III? I think they are much cheaper than the XTS3000 or 5000!
I looked at the NSW system database at RR and most digital scanners will do the system too. But I can see why you would want to use Moto, the audio and clarity are much better.
