Scott,

in theory the XTS3000 cable should be able to program several different types of radios. try ebay or have a chat to Motorola Solutions they may be able to sell you the programming cable

You are better off buying the overseas cable, cheaper and works just as well. You can choose from a RIB or RIBLESS model. Motorola genuine cables are expensive and you will need the RIB box.

The XTS3000 cable can be used to program the MTS2000, HT1000, MTX838 and a couple of similiar models.

It CANNOT be used to program the XTS5000 they are different radios, despite the appearance.
