What information have the "others" got or have you found?

Not sure if you babe googled, but this might give you a starting point - http://www.discriminator.nl/ubc30xlt/index-en.html

Could be similar or somewhere to start with.
Once you have found your information, be sure to come back and report your findings.

Turns out you need to remove six Phillips head screws, then two silver screws that hold the PCB board to the plastic enclosure, the. You need to desolder two metal tie down points and bent back the other two, so far similar to the ubc30xlt. Once done pull apart carefully the two pub boards, then you have two desolder 4 points and remove the if shielding, on e removed you have to locate the IF chip which is a JRC2552, solder a wire onto pin 11 then start to reassemble, I found it easier to run the cable out of a hole I made in the side of the unit, Co next other wire to a ground point (if shielding works) Ru this cable outside of unit also, solder a 10k resister to the first cable that you connected to. Pin 11 then solder this to the tip location on a 3.5mm inline socket, then solder 2.2nF ceramic cap to the tip pin then to the ground pin then connect the ground wire to that location.

Then you have a nice clean discriminator tap ready to use.
