Further information. In light of this thread and conversation, I took the liberty of contacting Icom Australia over the weekend. So whilst it is not yet approved, it appears to be under consideration. [s]F6021[/s] F6023H still may be worth consideration if you're willing to risk them not approving it? With that said the following reply is subject to change:-
The Icom IC-F6023H as imported by Icom Australia carries the C-tick (or the new Regulatory Compliance Mark) and is approved to:
Land Mobile A/NZS 4295-2004 standard and
40 Channel CB AS/NZS 4365-2002+Amendment 1 2007 .
NOTE: It is not as yet approved for use on the narrowband 80 channel CB system.
Icom Australia is the only organisation entitled to affix the C-tick or RCM to these units.
