Sad day indeed.

Proof they were getting out at any cost - just look at the prices they were selling the last digital scanners by Uniden

DSE in Ipswich Riverlink are still selling desktop models.

Its NOT trunking but definately desktop 355 or something,looks like the ubc780 etc etc

i THINK its 25-960 in several banks

I LOVE AOR scanners, but cant afford the newer ones LOL. So Uniden is it.

I was just in the Powerhouse at Slacks Creek and they still have 5 or 6 different models on the shelves.

If you type in uniden under search on the DSE website the 72 and 92XLT come up. last week the 72xlt was on special for $149. 92xlt still $269.

Apparently they will stock the 396XT

I normally check my local DSE weekly and when travelling I make a point of checking any DSE stores I find, most still have some scanners, that will be good if they stock the UBCD396XT.
