Swap/Selling Simoco SRM9000 AC

Hi guys,

I'm a bit of a newbie but allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ash and i reside in Perth, Western Australia. I recently purchased a car that came with a Simoco SRM9000 set up under the seat. Upon further inspect i found that it has a frequency of 134-176mhz. I believe this is VHF? I am about to embark on a trip around on Australia and i would like a radio that i can tune into UHF in case of emergencies and also for a general chat along the way.

Is it possible to tune this version into UHF band?

if not I'm looking for anyone who you like to swap my Simoco SRM9000 AC with 9010 Handheld for a UHF capable version or something of equal quality. I'm happy to post anywhere in Australia if needed. Alternatively if anyone wishes to buy i'm also willing to sell.

If this rig is on the VHF, then you won't be able to use it on UHF
