Does anyone know how to follow the SMR network with a single SDR dongle? I tried using this guide but the version of Unitrunker I have is newer and I couldn't get it "decoding" voice and following the transmissions

Re: SMR Network with SDR
You will more then likely need two sdr's to successfully track the SMR one for control one for voice

Re: SMR Network with SDR
As far as I am aware, UniTrunker has ALWAYS required two radios, irrespective of which Trunking Protocol is been monitored, and I don't believe it is any different when using SDR dongles.chainz wrote:Does anyone know how to follow the SMR network with a single SDR dongle? Re: SMR Network with SDR
I know this is ancient but if anyone stumbles across this - the latest beta releases of Unitrunker support multiple VCOs on a single SDR dongle. So as long as the frequencies you need to cover are all within the bandwidth of the device, you're sweet. I had my stream running with a single dongle with multiple VCOs and it worked beautifully.
