Scanner software and how to use it

Hey everyone I have a ubcd396t uniden scanner I am trying to find the best software to use and to also download it onto my computer but can't seem to find the link to download freescan could someone lead me in the right direction or help me with the software as I don't understand the uniden software

Welcome to the forum. Sure is a nice scanner and can be difficult to use without the software.

So do I need to be a premium member to do it? And is it easier to program than the using the uniden software ?

Luke it doesn't really matter if it is the Uniden software or Freescan, they are fundamentally the same, there maybe slightly different layouts and terminology but you will still need to know how your radio works. If I can ask, what state are you in? And don't say confusion please.

Anything interesting to listen to fire brigade amboe's and if I was lucky police but I know they are encrypted what else can you listen to ?

Basically forget about the police. PMR is Private Mobile Radio or non trunking radio. The GRN being trunking. I will PM you.
