iMac owners get this App

Post by AIRMAN »

For all you mac owners:

If you like monitoring the airbands on your scanner you will also like this new app which is derived from Flightradar24 and is much improved over the windows version. The app costs just $7.50. For this you get LIVE aircraft tracking not only here but anywhere in the world. Its sensitive and needs a careful touch with the mouse, but its great to see how one can click on a plane and find out all about it including a photo of it, where it is heading to and from, altitude, speed position etc.

Just go to your Apps thru desktop or Tunes and search for Flightradar24, then download.

Cheers

I is not live radar tracking ... only tracks ADSB capable a/c

Not worldwide - only where an ADSB station is active/online (typically home pc)

Just pointing out the facts

I have this as an app on my iPad and iPhone and works well

It will display Adsb aircraft only, but more and more aircraft are being fitted with adsb equipment/xpdrs
