Does anyone have any other freqs that may be worth tuning in?

Is anyone streaming anything of Riverfire tonight?
What is the stream - can I tune in on my iPhone?

Ground Controlled Approach (GCA) hasn't been used at Amberley since the 90s.
They now use an ILS (Instrument Landing System).

what freq are the f111s using for when they are in the air tonight as i would like to have a listen on the new toy a gme rx 1300 thanks

Listening to the jets now. They're are using various BNE frequencies and Milair (briefly heard on common freq of 279.8 and traffic freq of 234.55). Alex

All Milair were being streamed via proscan i do apologize for not announcing this to you all

That's a cool thing to do! (I hadn't played with those Proscan features.) Of interest, last night I noted that AMB ATC were re-broadcasting milair channels on the (milair) traffic freq. I could hear AMB approach and tower (and some control chatter IIRC) on the same freq; I've not heard that before. Alex

If there is only one Controller on duty (ie, a Duty Controller), just about every console frequency can be transferred to the Tower position.

Thanks Comint - that makes sense. There were very few AMB movements last night: a couple of Pigs; and, some Blackhawks who managed to royally p1ss the controller off!
