Hey guys
How do you store your portable radio in car? Iv got an icom if-41pro and wanting a way to store it with quick easy access.
Something along the lines of like, an air vent iPhone bracket type of thing?
If you know of something please let me know!
Cheers

Re: In car cradle?
Well, actually mate, I'm trying to figure out the exact same thing at the moment.
So far the options i've come up with are:
* Windshield suction mount (not bad, but can be tricky with positioning)
* Vent mount (can't handle much weight, and blocks ya' airflow )
* Cup holder mount (quite good actually; unobtrusive, easy)
* Gooseneck seat bolt mount (can be tricky with passengers, and can tend to 'wander' over rough corrugations, however, quite good apart from that).
* Custom mount from ashtray (bit dodgy, can get in the way)
* Custom mount from under dash (as in, through the seam from bolts under where the front A/C control are)
* Covert glovebox / centre console mount (can be difficult to access to see setting / channels)
* Velcro
And some pics:
Hope this helps mate.

Re: In car cradle?
I use a vent mount with my UBC126AT and this works very well.
