What band do these belong to

Just a quick question. What bands do 999.0000 and 1062.0000 belong to? Was going over a list I have of airservices australia stuff and they are on it but my 996 wont let my use them.

UHF. Covers 300 MHz to 3000 MHz

In the USA it is Aeronautical Radionavigation however i have found the ACMA Version

thanks. They are out of the range of my scanners but is are there scanners available to scan them?

Yeah you get scanners who can scan from 25 up to 1300 (and beyond) with no gaps.

Why bother.

They are Wide Band (500 kHz) which can't be monitored by any currently available scanner.

And at least one of them is also very narrow Beamwidth, so unless you were in exactly the Right Spot, you wouldn't receive it anyway.
