SCANNER AUDIO RECORDINGS

Thought I would make this thread for those of you that record audio from your scanner...

You may have heard something funny, something silly, something dangerous, a pursuit, a rescue, a fighter jet , a mid air disaster...if you heard it...post it.

There is no law against posting info freely available over the airways but of course keep it clean guys...oh and nothing of a sensitive nature like phone numbers, addresses etc.

Ive made it a sticky so it is easy to find.

I use ProScan with my 996T and love it, then I upload to Zshare for you all to hear!

Here is the first recording for the thread, I heard the RAAF fighters doing some training off Sydney tonight, nothing major just some audio of a missile run.

This is a good idea, i just recorded the whole of V8 Races at Bathurst, Race Control, also Cops etc.

Might have to look into uploading them. I use Scanrec, so its all VOX, no waiting to hear them talk.

Major Structure Fire in Penrith tonight, audio 1 is the intial pumper turnouts and on scene etc and the 2nd recording is the incident ops channel at the fire!

Hi all, ive recorded a few Highway Patrol pursuits over the years probably the most memorable was the 2 escapees from tumbarumba having that pursuit around wagga that lasted 3 hours and i got the lot courtesy of the stream.
i couldnt upload that one its 6 files of half hour duration each. where would you upload others to?

there is a law stating you cant do this or rebroadcast or pass on infomation heard on a scanner to other partys please refer to the radio communications act 1992
