He's Okay

I was listening to the police one night, and an accident had occured someway out of town and was attended by a country village officer. A vehicle had collided with a beast, a cow from memory, and it was in a bad way. The police officer advised the comms centre here in town, that he had shot the beast.

"What about the driver?", says the Shift Supervisor.

"Oh he's okay, I didn't have to shoot him!", was the reply.

Sometimes it is boring, sometimes sad, sometimes exciting, and there are the moments of humour.
