Hi All,
I need some tech savy help. I have a number of shows recorded on my Austar box and I need to put them onto an External Drive so the wife can record her mind numbing shows. Is it possible to do this and if so what gear do I need?
Thanks Sawman

Re: Austar
I think if its anything like foxtel you can just plug in the external hard drive and it should show up as you having more recording space ?

Re: Austar
I don't believe it can be done.
One of the crafty things they never tell you about.
I have a 42" Viera Plasma which I bought new in 2006. It does not have an inbuilt digital tuner, but it does have 3XAV and 2 X HDMI ports. The MYSTAR provides all the 'Free to Air' channels and AUSTAR channels thru one of the HDMI ports on the TV so I don't need any other peripherals. We are both able to record the shows we like into the MYSTAR library.
